KUALA LUMPUR: Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has arrived at Istana Negara after being granted an audience by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, on the third day of meetings with political party leaders.
He is the eighth party head to have been granted an audience with the King to discuss the emergency and measures to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
The previous two days have seen heads of PKR, DAP, Amanah, MCA, Pejuang, PAS and Warisan share their views with Sultan Abdullah.
The audiences come ahead of a special meeting the King has convened with the Malay rulers next Wednesday to discuss the emergency and fight against Covid-19. — Free Malaysia Today
