PETALING JAYA: While the transition to the endemic phase of Covid-19 will see the reopening of international borders, unvaccinated arrivals will still be subject to a five-day mandatory quarantine period.
Those who are fully vaccinated will not be required to quarantine, but will still be subject to existing SOPs like wearing face masks and physical distancing, health minister Khairy Jamaluddin said in a statement.
Fully vaccinated arrivals who are undergoing quarantine will be released from isolation on April 1.
“For example, if an individual begins quarantine on March 29, the quarantine will end on April 1, 2022,” Khairy explained. — Free Malaysia Today
