Stay strong, our struggle not over, Hamzah tells PN members

PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin has urged members to stay strong as the coalition’s struggle is not over.

Hamzah said it is time to move forward following the formation of a unity government led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Reflecting on the general election, he said the public’s “extraordinary” support for PN proved that many believed in the coalition’s aspirations, brand and vision.

“PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin and all the top leaders appreciate all Malaysians who supported us in GE15.

“We are grateful for the PN machinery who worked hard to ensure our victory in all the seats we contested,” he said.

Muhyiddin has said PN will serve as a check and balance on Anwar’s administration, hinting that it will remain in the opposition instead of joining the unity government. — Free Malaysia Today
