Selangor hands out another RM552mil in Covid-19 aid

PETALING JAYA: Selangor has announced a second financial aid package dubbed Pakej Kita Selangor 2.0 worth RM551.56 million that will benefit over 1.6 million Selangor residents.

This is in addition to the RM73.877 million Pakej Kita Selangor aid that Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari announced in January.

Amirudin disclosed this in a special announcement in a virtual press conference today.

He said the package was designed based on three strategies and 25 programmes to address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people and businesses in the state. — Free Malaysia Today
