SHARING HONOUR…The Sabah Tourism Board (STB) shared the honour of winning two tourism-related awards with the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew at her office in Wisma Tun Fuad Stephens on Thursday.
With the Minister were Deputy Permanent Secretary I Mary Malangking and Deputy Permanent Secretary II Alesia Sion. On hand to show the Asia’s Leading Regional Tourist Board Award 2023 and Best Communication of Social Media (Bronze Award) for STB’s campaign “Fly Me To Sabah” was STB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Noredah Othman.
Last week, Noredah received the Asia’s Leading Regional Tourist Board Award on behalf of STB at the 30th Annual World Travel Awards at the GEM Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She also collected the award for the Best Communication of Social Media Category at the 4th ASEAN PR Excellence Awards held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC).
“Both award events coincided with the International Travel Expo held in Ho Chi Minh City,” the CEO said.
“Congratulations and Well done. I am proud of the Sabah Tourism Board team. Do live up to your good name,” remarked Liew. STB is one of the agencies under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS).
