PAS’ Melor assemblyman Yusnan Yusof dies, aged 53

KOTA BHARU: PAS assemblyman Dr Mohd Yusnan Yusof died early this morning at his home in Ketereh from heart complications.

The two-term Melor assemblyman was 53.

The party’s Harakah Daily quoted Yusnan’s secretary, Tanazi Ariffin, as saying he had previously received treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN).

He leaves his wife, Ustazah Romaini Daud, and six children.

Yusnan’s son, Mohd Auzaie, said in a Facebook post that funeral prayers will be held at the Muhammadi mosque in Kota Bharu, followed by burial at the Pondok Haji Hassan cemetery in Ketereh.

Yusnan was first elected the Melor assemblyman in 2013 and retained the seat in 2018. — Free Malaysia Today
