PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 376 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, according to its GitHub database.
Of the total, 75 were classified as brought-in-dead (BID). The death toll now stands at 23,443.
Most of the fatalities were recorded in Selangor with 148 deaths, followed by Johor (43), Sabah (35), Kelantan (32), Penang (29), Kedah (25), Sarawak (23) and Kuala Lumpur (14).
All the other states except Perlis, Labuan and Putrajaya also recorded deaths.
As of midnight, there were 210,468 active Covid-19 cases, including 1,191 in ICU, 662 of whom required respiratory assistance.
There were also 23,468 recoveries recorded. — Free Malaysia Today
