PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 346 Covid-19 deaths yesterday.
They include one who died in the 24 hours preceding noon yesterday, according to the ministry’s GitHub database.
The others are backlog cases not previously reported.
Of the total, 105 are classified as brought-in-dead (BID).
The death toll now stands at 22,355. Most of the casualties were recorded in Selangor (94), followed by Kedah (82) and Johor (59). All the other states except Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Putrajaya and Labuan also recorded deaths.
As of yesterday, there were 227,120 active Covid-19 cases, including 1,234 in ICUs, 710 of whom required respiratory assistance.
There were also 16,939 recoveries recorded. — Free Malaysia Today
