Govt sets up committee to wage ‘jihad’ on inflation

PETALING JAYA: The government is setting up a special committee to wage a “jihad” on inflation, announced Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The five-member committee will be chaired by communications and multimedia minister Annuar Musa.

In a statement, Ismail said the committee was tasked to formulate strategies to tackle inflation and the rising prices of goods. — Free Malaysia Today
