SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has arrested an executive of a government-linked company and two company owners for the alleged abuse of authority over a project.

The companies of the other two are believed to be involved in the project.

All the suspects, aged between 40 and 57, were arrested at around 4.30pm at the Selangor MACC office when they showed up to give their statements.

All three suspects will be brought to the Shah Alam magistrates’ court for a remand application today.

Selangor MACC director Alias Salim confirmed the arrests but declined to comment further. — Free Malaysia Today
