PETALING JAYA: The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) has ruled out booster shots as the cause of deaths in 22 cases of adverse events following immunisation (AEFI).

These 22 cases are half of the 44 deaths reported among booster recipients as of Feb 18.

The remaining 22 reports are being completed before they can be presented to the committee for evaluation, said NPRA director Dr Roshayati Mohamad Sani at a press briefing today. — Free Malaysia Today
